As a dominate driver in the series, Busch made the Championship 4 from 2015-2109. The 35-year-old Las Vegas native punctuated his milestone-filled campaign in 2019 with a dominating victory at the season-ending race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, which clinched his second Cup Series title in five years and further immersed his presence among North American stock car racing's most elite competitors of all-time.
He was eliminated after the Round of 12 in 2020, but won his first race of the season at Texas in October. Busch's 57 Cup wins rank third only to Jimmie Johnson (83) and Kevin Harvick (58) among active drivers. He now ranks 10th on the all-time wins list. Busch is the all-time record-holder for wins in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series (97) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (59). He also is the 2009 Xfinity champion. Through 16 full-time seasons at the premiere level of stock car racing, Truex's resume includes a Cup Series championship in 2017, 27 race wins, more than 100 top-five finishes and over 200 top-10s

After several years working on clamming boats, the younger Truex opted for the racing route and the rest is history. In 2014, Truex transitioned to Furniture Row Racing. In 2015, Truex was paired with crew chief Cole Pearn and the duo opened the season scoring top-10 finishes in 14 of the first 15 races, including a victory at Pocono Raceway. They ended the season fourth in the championship standings after qualifying for the Championship 4 race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Their success together continued in 2016 when Truex went to victory lane four times, including the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. That season served as a springboard for an incredible eight-win campaign in 2017 where Truex capped off the year with a win and championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway. During his championship run, Truex set personal bests for wins, top-10 finishes and laps led in a season. He also received the 2018 Best Driver award at the ESPY's. Truex earned another four victories in 2018 on his way to qualifying for the Championship 4 for the third tie in four seasons. Truex set a career-high for top-five finishes in a season with 20. Truex moved to Joe Gibbs Racing for the 2019 season and his on-track performance continued to shine. In two seasons racing with JGR, he has claimed eight victories, 29 top-five finishes, 47 top-10s and more than 2,300 laps lead.
Christopher Bell will drive the No. 20 for Joes Gibbs Racing in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season. Adam Stevens will take over as the crew chief after six years at the helm of the No. 18 for JGR. Speedway, once on the CARS Super Late Model Tour and five times while racing a limited dirt schedule in various series.
